Fun Links

Here are some fun links that we recommend to check out, in case you're bored or just want to mess around on the internet.

Knucklehead Pub - Known for bringing great entertainment, along with great wings, to the Eagle area! In these days of club owners struggling to figure out how to promote their own venues, Melissa does an outstanding job that we wish more owners and managers would take note of!

Papa's Social Club - Papa's has become our "home base" in Milwaukee. Their restaurant, Mama's, has also become our favorite place for Italian!

Rookies Allstar - We have blood relations with this fun bar in Okauchee - the owner, Al, is our own Rob's nephew, so say hi to him next time you're there.

Big Halloween Gig
Here's the new website for the great Halloween party that we've been lucky enough to be involved with since 2002. The party has already raised nearly $9000 for The Variety Club Children's Charities.

The Metal Men - The antithesis of The Boogie Men! Guitarist Dean Arndt and Eric from The Barbeez have been friends for over 20 years. Eric even sang at Dean's wedding! We highly suggest seeing these guys (when The Barbeez aren't playing, of course!) for that raw, guttural metal sound that we all love! You won't hear better renditions of their songs anywhere.

The Boogie Men - Yes, once again, long time friends of over 18 years! Yep, Eric, Joe and Tony go back to the 80's! Eric claims to remember when Joe (keyboardist) actually had hair, and when the singer, Tony, had hair eerily similar to the wig he wears today! These guys may be a novelty act, but they are a GREAT band with great talent.

The Brandon James Band - Great up-and-coming country artist from Milwaukee that might actually make it! Barbeez production manager, Todd, has worked with Brandon and his father Tyler for many years.

The Van Eskes
The Van Eskes have donated nearly $250,000 of their earnings to charity since the band's inception in 1999. That's not a type-o! Although now only performing for special reunion shows, you can catch the members occasionally playing in the Watertown area as a new band called "Live Bait."

Watertown Daily Times article
Here's the article from when The Barbeez and The Van Eskes played together at Watertown Turner Hall for Gifts For Kids charity during Christmas '04.

LiveBands.net - Len does a great job on this site, which is set up solely for promoting live music. We even have our own little page! Just search for The Barbeez on the site.

MilwaukeeRocks.com - They beat us out for "Best Website" at the WAMI's, but it's a great music website that we use all the time.
