Big Halloween Gig 2009! (9th Annual)

Our theme this year: The Zombeez (get it?)

This was the biggest night ever, with record pre-sales and attendance this year, proving once again that this is THE party in the entire Milwaukee area on Halloween! Thanks again to all who came out. As always, proceeds after expenses go to Variety Club's Children's Charities (we will post that impressive total soon.)

Special Thanks...

Long-time friend of Eric's, Steve Petruzates (www.3dsteve.com) helped with the stage design again this year. In such historic venues such as the Tripoli Center, there is a very limited time for transforming the stage, and care must be taken not to damage anything. So a lot of imagination and resourcefulness is required, and there is no better partner for that than Steve! Steve has credits for set designs on such movies as Terminator 2, Species, Wayne's World 2 and Stargate, just to name a few!

Beckie Barbieri from Hauntfest once again did an incredible job helping us out with our makeup this year. Hauntfest is a great friend of the BigHalloweenGig, helping with our makeup and sometimes loaning us costumes and even things like blowers this year for our stage. Beckie has nearly twenty years experience with costumes, makeup and acting with some of the state's most highly-rated haunts.

"Spoiled Rotten," a great new and upcoming band, added to the night by getting the party started as well as playing between sets in the Dome Room. Be sure to check them out soon!
